July 1st 2007 was a historical day. On that day, a little Danish princess was christened, and at the same time she and all the other petite people in the world got their own unique shop online: PetitePeople.com!

The dream of two long-time friends Katrine Leisby Hammerlund and Julie Wiltschut had finally come true. For many years, they had shared the dream of opening a special kind of shop – with hand-picked quality products made of the finest materials, all of which can be personalised with the child’s name, date of birth, or maybe their photo.

It is our philosophy to give children the opportunity to put their own special touch on all products in our shop. Our goal is to provide unique quality products, which allows children to be children and which can endure being used, loved, hugged and chewed on – and later be kept as a treasured memory.

With PetitePeople.com, we have tried to create a personal universe where you can find all the useful and cute items that surround the children for the first six years of their lives. From feeding bottles, toys, shoes and blankets to teddy bears, books and paintings for the children’s room – and of course clothes for fancy little folks. All of it is produced especially for you with the child’s name carefully engraved or embroidered. For one because it is practical, but most importantly to let the child know from the very beginning that he or she is something very special.
