Bed and breakfast

Here are some of the words they have written about their stay:

"The family is the perfect host. We arrived a bit early, so we first took a stroll in the neighbourhood. Afterwards, they offered us tea, coffee and fruit as a welcome. Our room was very comfortable and big. Our host was very interested and friendly. We took the additional breakfast in the morning, which included different types of bread, fruit, muesli, milk, yoghurt, coffee, tea and home made jams. We enjoyed the quietness of this area after having visited Copenhagen. "

"A great place to stay. Nice room and common space. Lovely breakfast! Very nice place to stay with kids, friendly animals all around. The family is an inviting and friendly host that is easy to get in touch with." Malene Alnes, Norge

"It was an amazing and unforgettable experience stayed at the farm. The family told us we were the first visitors coming from China. And we told them before leaving we won't be the last because we would definitely recommend their place and this kind of experience to all of our Chinese friends who love to travel and animals. It was a bit difficult to position the farm in a late night but the family saw us passing by in the car, rushed out of the door and led us the way using flashlight. Some homemade cookies and tea were already waiting for us, which made me feel so warm. We had a pleasant chat and great time with their animals (many of them!;D). On the next morning, an organic and fresh breakfast woke us up. And you can not miss the little walk to the fjord just like what the family suggested. We didn't leave until late after lunch time. Wish we would have another chance to stay there longer. Many many thanks to the Haahrfamily! A friendly host that is easy to get in touch with."

"We had a lovely stay at familien Haahr! Stunning surroundings, delicious homemade food and a cosy room. What really made the stay rememberable for our four year old, was the kittens, puppies, chickens, pigs, horses and cows! We would most definately come again, and will highly recommend a stay here, especially for families or if you would like a silent retreat from the citylife."
Åsne, Oslo, Norway

"We only stayed one night, but the farm was amazing! Easy to find, the room was clean, there was two cute dogs and a cat in the house (be aware if someone's allergic), the host was most friendly and she gave us tips on where to eat dinner. Yet the best thing about the experience was the breakfast! The host served home made bread, freshly squeezed vegetable juice, a selection of cheese and milk - straight from the cow. I would recommend the farm for both short and longer stays. It's located in such an idyllic area and we would have loved to stay some more days to go on hikes. We'll definitely be back if we're ever in the same area."
